Call for 2023 MSECA Workgroup Volunteers*

MSECA’s Workgroups have been instrumental in identifying, recruiting, and selecting speakers & presentations for all of our educational events. In 2023 we will be hosting 4 half-day in-person events, 2 virtual meetings, and our multi-day virtual conference. If you or someone on your team would like to join one of our Workgroups and help MSECA put together excellent educational programming, please reach out to us at info@mseca.org.

Our 2023 Workgroups will include:

  • Regulator Partnership (NEW)
    We’ve had an excellent relationship with IDEM for several years and we’d like to expand that to more regulatory bodies. If you would like to assist MSECA with establishing connections with other regulators and help us to expand the updates and presentations from regulators, please volunteer for this Workgroup.

  • IDEM Cooperation (NEW)
    During Q1 we’d like to put together an education event with various updates from IDEM. We also want to continue to work with IDEM and help provide them with feedback & assistance whenever we can. If you’d like to help put together the program for an IDEM update education event along with supporting our partnership with IDEM, please volunteer for this Workgroup.

  • Case Studies (NEW)
    It’s been a while since we’ve had many good case study presentations so we would like to host an event in 2023 that is focused on quality case study examples. If you would be interested in helping us to find and vet case study presentations, please volunteer for this Workgroup.

  • Compliance (NEW)
    MSECA would like to focus an event on compliance topics and record the presentations so we can make them a resource for our membership. Since a lot of these topics don’t change regularly, this probably isn’t something members would be interested in attending every year, but we’d like to have resources we can make available.

  • Vapor Intrusion

  • Site Investigation & Remediation Design

  • PFAS
