Directed Technologies Drilling (DTD) utilizes state of the art equipment and specialized directional drilling techniques for the installation of horizontal/directional remediation wells. Working with consulting engineers and site owners, our team of geologists, engineers and scientists supervise the installation of horizontal wells to access areas unreachable with traditional vertical drilling methods, and to enhance remediation technologies by installing long screen sections directly in the plume. Remediation methods that have been used with horizontal wells include; air/bio-sparge, soil vapor extraction, nutrient/substrate injection, thermal processes, recirculating cells and pump and treat. The technology can also be utilized to obtain soil samples under buildings, ponds and other areas inaccessible to conventional drilling techniques. In addition to drilling and completing wells, our experienced team can provide design assistance to maximize the success of your project.
